Turning Point USA at Cal Poly has always been about bringing important voices and conversations to campus. In the past, we’ve had the honor of hosting Charlie Kirk, Riley Gaines, and Chloe Cole, giving students and the community the chance to hear directly from national leaders who challenge and inspire.
Now, in the wake of Charlie’s passing, our chapter is organizing a memorial vigil in the PAC. We chose the Performing Arts Center not because we were pushed out of campus spaces, but because it’s the best and most fitting place to gather, worship, and remember. This event will be open to the public, but priority seating will go to Cal Poly students—our main mission is to invest in students and recruit the next generation of leaders.
Why this matters:
Our chapter exists to serve students and the broader community by hosting events that bring people together. This vigil is about honoring Charlie’s legacy while also carrying forward the mission he started: standing for truth, creating space for dialogue, and building unity across generations.
How you can support:
Hosting this event at the PAC costs $5,000. If just 100 people give $50, we’ll meet our goal. Importantly, this is not a ticketed event—entry is free. Every dollar donated goes directly to the Cal Poly TPUSA club. After covering the cost of the PAC, all remaining donations will go toward future events we hope everyone will attend. We do not anticipate running out of space, but to ensure your spot, arrive early!
